摘要: Abstract Immune functions are coordinated along the 24 h time scale both in mice and man. These circadian rhythms (with a period τ = h) appear as: (1) endogenous: external cycles not necessary for immune to be observed; (2) linked sleep-wakefulness cycle laboratory rodents human beings. As result of such structure immunity, cyclosporin A (a drug which depresses functions), interleukin-2, tumor necrosis factor α-interferon (drugs enhance functions) more or less effective and/or toxic according their dosing rats. preclinical data warrant investigate chronotherapeutic schedules with these agents. Chronotherapy is strategy aimed at delivering amount needed appropriate times order minimize toxicity efficacy. It has largely benefitted from development delivery systems that programmable time. Early clinical trials confirm promises approaches optimizing actions directed toward system.
