摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the chemical approaches toward generation of nitroxyl. Nitroxyl (HNO) is an unstable molecule that has only been observed in gas phase and by matrix isolation. Because highly reactive nature nitroxyl, direct detection this compound remains difficult. There are basically two strategies for nitroxyl (HNO). The disproportionating hydroxylamines possessing good leaving groups attached to nitrogen represents one general method formation. Alternatively, hydrolysis acyl nitroso compounds or their reaction with nucleophiles form corresponding carboxylic acid derivatives presents a second approach concludes discussion on preparation methanesulfohydroxamic [N- (methanesulfonyl) hydroxylamine].
