摘要: The Coombs' test can detect both immunoglobulin and complement on the surface of RBCs, as such be value an aid in diagnosis IMHA. Techniques that may improve sensitivity include use monovalent reagents, increased dilutions antiglobulin to avoid a prozone effect, testing at 4°C. These techniques are not without controversy, positive tests should always interpreted presence other clinical hematologic evidence for Alternate techniques, flow cytometry, detection RBC-bound immunoglobulin, but require cytometer further standardization between laboratories.
