Prophylactic Perihepatic Lymphadenectomy in Patients with Colorectal Cancer with Liver Metastasis: A prospective preliminary study

摘要: Objective The aim of this study was to prospectively evaluate the incidence occult perihepatic lymph node metastasis. Methodology Perihepatic nodes were dissected in 39 patients undergoing resection for colon cancer liver metastasis. Results Complication rates two groups not significantly different (P = 0.094). No mortality associated lymphadenectomy. The average rate retrieval 7 per patient. metastasis 5.1%. Conclusions Radiologically negative perhepatic found be 5.1% among colorectal patient resection. Due high risk intraabdominal bleeding, should done routinely.
