摘要: In this work, the influences of heat treatments on microstructural features and, consequently, mechanical and wear characteristics Co–Cr–Mo–C alloys commonly used as hip knee implant materials, are investigated. Specimens alloy in as-cast condition were solution treated at 1230 °C for 3 h, then either quenched water or furnace cooled. The achieved microstructures heat-treated samples, characterized by fine globular lamellar-type carbides due to different thermal-treatment conditions, was proved affect material microstructural, behavior. behavior evaluated means pin-on-disk tests, which showed that properties strongly affected shape, distribution, size. It both large precipitated alloys, also induced slow cooling after solubilization caused lower resistance than dispersed solution-treated water-quenched specimens. Moreover, e-martensite, formed strain-induced martensitic transformation through plastic straining during sliding pin disk, decreases rate mainly number slip systems hexagonal structure.
