摘要: Abstract A new facile and scalable approach for utilizing basic ionic liquid, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hydroxide ([BMIM]+OH−) the fabrication of different shapes ceria nanostructures was adopted. The features fabricated their corresponding gold nanocatalysts were characterized by employing ICP, HRTEM, XRD, XPS, BET UV–vis spectroscopy. Catalytic performance CeO2 its dependence on shape studied in oxidation CO olefins epoxidation. ratio between liquid cerium precursor is one valuable factors used to monitor growth particles. catalytic found be dependent morphology catalysts. form nanorod-shapes better than that nanocubes bulk. deposition nanoparticles shaped much enhanced performance. This enhancement was, however, more significant case rod-shaped ceria.
