Morphological and antibacterial properties of modified paper by PS nanocomposites for packaging applications

摘要: With the increasing sustainability trend with packaging materials, paper and polymer nanocomposites represent a novel class of materials. This study evaluates potential achievement alternative sustainable materials as antibacterial application. Paper sheet from rice straw coated 5 or 10% polystyrene (PS) using titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2-NPs) doped undoped sliver (Ag-NPs) were prepared. The morphology uncoated sheets was studied by SEM. treated analyzed for their elemental composition EDAX. Barrier, air permeability, cob test, well mechanical properties tensile strength also evaluated. inhibitory effect modified against Pseudomonas, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida, investigated.
