摘要: Background Activating enhancer-binding protein-2β (AP2β) is a transcription factor involved in apoptosis. The purpose of the current study was to assess cellular location and level AP2β non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) normal tissue investigate whether localization expression predictive overall survival patients with stage I NSCLC. Methods We performed immunohistochemical analysis microarrays (TMAs) prepared from NSCLC specimens adjacent two independent sets who underwent resection curative intent at our institution. intensity assessed TMAs, staining patterns were classified as either diffuse or nucleolar TMAs. analyzed for correlation patients' survival. Results Immunohistochemical TMAs showed that did not correlate When all had pattern AP2β. In first set NSCLC, significantly lower 5-year rate than (67% versus 100%; p = 0.004); this finding confirmed second (64% 91%; 0.02). Multivariate revealed an predictor poor both sets. Conclusions AP2β, which located nucleoplasm tissue, found nucleoli compared cytoplasm.
