摘要: Cytokeratin (CK) expression was studied in squamous cell carcinomas of different subsites the head and neck by using cryostat sections from 27 (HNSCCs) 6 lines established HNSCC. All tissues were analyzed immunohistochemically with a panel monospecific anti-keratin monoclonal antibodies. Most recapitulated pattern keratins present basal layer normal epithelium site tumor origin. Regional differences simple-epithelial type stratified (pseudostratified) epithelia to large extent repeated corresponding carcinomas. In study, localization various surveyed CK 18 specific antibodies specifically used distinguish SCCs larynx or hypopharynx oral cavity. staining almost all cells detected 11 12 hypopharynx, but only sporadically 3 9 The results show that typing might be useful for distinguishing sites origin HNSCCs. Findings also indicate SCC modulated microenvironmental factors.
