摘要: Insects are the most thoroughly studied freeze-tolerant organisms. There are, however, several other groups of animals that can survive presence ice in their extracellular fluids. These include some lower vertebrates, such as frogs, turtles, and snakes intertidal invertebrates. basic similarities differences mechanisms freezing tolerance between insects invertebrates, it is purpose this chapter to compare contrast these mechanisms.
