摘要: Functional genomic screening of the rat enamel organ (EO) has led to identification a number secreted proteins expressed during maturation stage amelogenesis, including amelotin (AMTN) and odontogenic ameloblast-associated (ODAM). In this study, we characterise gene, protein pattern expression related called secretory calcium-binding phosphoprotein-proline-glutamine-rich 1 (SCPPPQ1). The Scpppq1 gene resides within phosphoprotein (Scpp) cluster. SCPPPQ1 is highly conserved, 75-residue, rich in proline, leucine, glutamine phenylalanine. silico data mining revealed no correlation any known sequences. Northern blotting various tissues suggests that restricted tooth associated tissues. Immunohistochemical analyses show late amelogenesis junctional epithelium where it localises an atypical basal lamina at cell-tooth interface. This discrete localisation SCPPPQ1, together with AMTN ODAM, participates structuring mediating attachment epithelia cells mineralised surfaces.
