摘要: Fission yeast is one of the best-understood organisms with regard to regulation meiosis, and molecular mechanisms controlling initiation meiosis have been considerably worked out in this fungal microbe. follows essentially same meiotic process as germ-line cells higher eukaryotes, except that conjugation normally precedes entry S. pombe proliferates preferentially haploid cells.
