摘要: The coal-fired power sector is one of the major contributors to environmental problems and has great potential air pollution abatement. This study employs Energy Conservation Supply Curves (ECSCs) combined with pollutant surcharge health benefits evaluate co-benefits energy efficiency improvement in sector. Health are considered as that reduce costs conserved (CCEs) ECSCs. quantified using Intake Fraction method, while calculated based on regulation. Three scenarios including a Business As Usual (BAU) scenario, an Efficiency Improvement (EEI) Upgrading Standards Incentive (USI) scenario case for Henan Province China. Our results show reduced by 0.56 0.29 USD/GJ under EEI USI due reductions related efficient technologies, respectively. In particular, account 97% CCEs, only contributes 3%. Under scenarios, 2020, reduces consumption Henan’s 3.3% 3.5% compared BAU indicates 1.5 × 109 2.4 USD gained surcharges 197 226 million realized
