Les lipides cutanes surface chez l’homme representent « l’ultime frontiere entre l’organisme l’environnement ». Plusieurs maladies dermatologiques sont caracterisees par composition lipidique matrice extracellulaire du SC differente celle d’une normale. Toute anomalie quantitative qualitative ces entraine augmentation insensible eau, marqueur fidele l’alteration barriere.
