摘要: The different pathological characteristics and prognoses between gastric cancer patients coming from high-risk (group A) low-risk B) areas of Italy were analyzed. We investigated a suspected difference in microsatellite instability (MSI) these two groups. MSI analyses 452 performed using five quasimonomorphic mononucleotide repeats NR-21, NR-24, NR-27, BAT-25, BAT-26. analysis was done by PCR usage. An allelic profile mononucleotides detected on an automated DNA sequencer ABI PRISM 3100 Genetic Analyser. Data analyzed according to areas. observed 23.9 % all studied. Patients group A showed higher rate (28.4 %) than B (13.5 %) (p < 0.001). this association together with tumor location Lauren classification: nonsignificant differences seen when analyzing cardia non-cardia tumors (p = 0.854) but significant for histotype (p = 0.028). There no statistical survival (p = 0.437), trend better the group, especially measured over longer period time. Analyzing or MSS groups, curves almost same. frequency may help explain geographical cancer. be due patients.
