摘要: This experimental work is concerned with the vibration characteristics of a canti lever beam locally linked by an electro-rheological fluid layer to ground. Such novel con trol strategy can drastically change system, owing mechanism that applied ER serves as complex spring and thus stiffness matrix, or structural configuration, original system under electric field. It found cantilever treatment more sensitive field than sandwich beam. The influence non linear deformation due presence yield stress on also investigated.
