摘要: BACKGROUND:Triatoma infestans (Klug) is the major Chagas disease vector in Southern Cone area of South America, and its chemical control based on use pyrethroid insecticides. Resistance to deltamethrin Salta Province, Argentina, has been detected field populations since 2002, causing failure campaigns this disease-endemic area. The inheritance resistance T. was evaluated through reciprocal crosses conducted between resistant susceptible insects. RESULTS: response reciprocally mated insects' progeny intermediate highly parent colonies. Lack significant differences LD50 ratios insects indicated no sex linkage trait. CONCLUSION: Bioassay results, addition degree dominance calculations, suggest that controlled by semi-dominant, autosomally inherited factors. Copyright © 2010 Society Chemical Industry
