摘要: Helicobacter pylori is a spiral Gram-negative bacillus, which colonizes the human stomach and plays key role in pathogenesis of number gastroduodenal diseases. However, when expose to environmental stressed conditions, such as increased oxygen tension, extended incubation exposure antibiotics, able entering viable but nonculturable state, bacterium modifies its morphology from coccoid form, manifestation cell adaptation these adverse conditions. In gastric tissues, forms may remain latent for long time retain virulence factors, so possibly contribute treatment failures recurrence infection diseases well. this review, we will discuss several aspects cellular survival pylori, antibiotic susceptibility involvement with recrudescence.
