摘要: The incorporation of a hard particular dispersion in metal matrix results composite material with unique mechanical and tribological properties. However, once the has been fabricated cannot be rearranged or modified. In this study, surface 2124 aluminium is modified by eutectic alloying copper. show that heat treating at temperature above for Al-Cu system, distribution SiC particles can altered. There significant movement towards abrasive wear tests better resistance than unmodified surfaces. This change behaviour attributed to absence severe plastic deformation due increase concentration within surface.
