摘要: The effect of wollastonite nanofibers (NW) on biological resistance particleboard, made from wood chips and chicken-feather fibers (CF), against Antrodia vaillantii was studied. 10% NW, as well 5 CF, were applied to the particleboard-matrix based dry weight chips. Then, a complimentary study, also added chips; totaling, 10 mixing treatments. Specimens prepared mass loss (ML) values measured in accordance with EN 113 specifications. Results indicated that highest ML (37%) occurred control treatment without NW- or CF-content; lowest seen panels (2.5%). NW substantially decreased all ratios. CF showed significant decreasing ML. No correlation found between any physical mechanical properties; however, high correlations most properties. It is concluded may be considered an effective filler wood-composite industry increase durability fungal attack; more studies should first conducted different fungi materials finalize this conclusion.
