摘要: As a syndrome, multiple organ dysfunction (MODS) is defined as an altered function in the setting of sepsis, septic shock or systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) and most common cause death intensive care units. Endotoxin, constituent cell walls Gram-negative bacteria, plays important role initiation development MODS. The cytokines, especially tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha), are early regulators immune can induce release secondary cytokines. To remove endotoxin TNF-alpha from patients with MODS, adsorption method has proven to be effective. In this review, we provide various methods removal endotoxins using different adsorbents.
