摘要: One method that shows potential for non-invasive oil film measurement is the use of ultrasonic reflection. In current work, transducer coupled to outside a bearing and wave transmitted through shell. The partially reflected when it strikes an film. Experiments were conducted study reflection coefficient technique in plain journal bearing. Measurements multiple coefficients recorded used map viscosity profiles, oil-film thickness cavitation. addition, alternative using phase from was verification. results revealed evaluation slightly lower compared amplitude method. profile obtained converging region agreed well with classical hydrodynamic predictions.
