摘要: Disease resistance in domesticated fowl, and particular, chickens, has been associated with certain alleles of the Rfp-Y B systems major histocompatibility genes birds. This invention provides a method genotyping chickens which is useful for different breeds raised meat eggs. Methods selecting disease-resistant breeding are also provided. The oligonucleotide probes use methods. haplotyping can be used to select having reduced incidence and/or severity disease, example, Marek's disease greater vigor fecundity.
