摘要: Abstract We have previously reported that the 5'-flanking sequence upstream from "TATA" box modulates faithful transcription initiation of fibroin gene in a homologous whole cell extract prepared silk glands, whereas such modulating effect is not observed HeLa extract. Subsequently we determined major signals responsible for are located within 200-base-pair region TATA box, mainly distal between nucleotide positions -238 and -116 proximal one -73 -53. Inversion element -234 to -66 did alter its effect. A similar by sericin was also gland but In contrast, adenovirus 2 late Thus, regions these genes exerted only their own extracts.
