摘要: Syringolin A (SylA), a virulence factor secreted by certain strains of the plant pathogen Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae, is an irreversible proteasome inhibitor imported cells unknown transport process. Here, we report that functional expression in yeast all 17 members Arabidopsis oligopeptide transporter family revealed OLIGOPEPTIDE TRANSPORTER1 (OPT1), OPT2, YELLOW STRIPE-LIKE3 (YSL3), YSL7, and YSL8 rendered sensitive to growth inhibition SylA different degrees, strongly indicating these proteins mediated uptake into cells. The greatest sensitivity was conferred YSL7 expression. An ysl7 mutant exhibited reduced root assay leaves ysl8 mutants, SylA-mediated quenching salicylic-acid-triggered PATHOGENESIS-RELATED GENE1 transcript accumulation greatly compared with wild type. These results suggest are major transporters Arabidopsis. Expression YSL homolog bean, host SylA-producing P. B728a, also strong sensitivity. Thus, transporters, which thought be involved metal homeostasis, have been hijacked bacterial pathogens for
