摘要: In the present work, we investigate in detail effect of both deposition temperature and cooling rate on growth calcium barium niobate (CBN) thin films a magnesium oxide (MgO) single crystal substrate. As revealed by x-ray diffraction measurements, epitaxy occurs for deposited at 800°C with slow situ rate. We have also investigated chemical composition way Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy technique an elastic recoil detection analysis, which reveal good stoichiometry our samples. addition, optical analysis (UV-visible spectroscopic ellipsometry) is performed polycrystalline epitaxial films. A high transmittance (>85%) refractive index close to that observed bulk are obtained CBN low oxygen pressure. X-ray reflectivity measurements enabled us correlate density their indices.
