摘要: Cytokine signaling has been connected to regulation of metabolism and energy balance. Numerous cytokine gene expression changes are stimulated by accumulation bile acids in livers young Foxa2 liver-conditional null mice. We hypothesized that acid-induced inflammation mutants, once chronic, affects metabolic homeostasis. found loss the liver results a premature aging phenotype, including significant weight gain, reduced food intake, decreased expenditure. show antagonizes mammalian target rapamycin (mTOR) pathway, resulting increased hepatic lipogenesis adiposity. While much prior work focused on adipose tissue obesity, we discovered novel age-onset obesity phenotype model where deletion occurs only liver, underscoring importance role plays development obesity.
