摘要: Superoxide dismutase and catalase activities have been measured in cell-free extracts of calf trabecular meshwork, for comparison, iris, retina, lens, liver, erythrocytes. Gel electrophoresis has used to identify isozymes each enzyme. The superoxide per milligram wet weight 0.184 0.884 U/mg wt, respectively, were comparable those found iris much higher than lens. Three identified meshwork. Two these presumably correspond cytoplasmic dismutase, while the third corresponds a mitochondrial isozyme. A mitochondria! activity was also observed but not single isozyme all tissues examined.
