摘要: This paper describes the coupling of ambient pressure transmission geometry laser ablation with a liquid-phase sample collection into continuous flow surface sampling probe/electrospray emitter for mass spectrometry based chemical imaging. The probe/emitter device was placed in close proximity to collect plume produced by ablation. collected immediately aspirated probe and onto electrospray emitter, ionized detected spectrometer. Freehand drawn ink lines letters an inked fingerprint on microscope slides were analyzed. circular area about 210 µm diameter under conditions used these experiments spatial resolution, as determined size features distinguished images, 100 µm.
