摘要: A major justification of extended indications for GH therapy in conditions with short stature is based on the objective preventing or alleviating suspected psychosocial maladjustment. Despite more sophisticated research, results are still controversial concerning actual seriousness adjustment difficulties various stature, thus making it difficult to determine a patient's need treatment. This paper discusses different concepts and assessment strategies "adjustment" as source apparent heterogeneity among study findings, conclusions treatment recommendations. concise framework developed that identifies differentiates three hierarchical levels research growth retardation: (1) stress exposure due (2) quality coping responses, (3) occurrence psychopathology. Choosing particular level its corresponding measures may imply whether high, medium very low impact found, inferred.
