摘要: Random sequencing of clones from a lambda gt10 cDNA library, made mRNA expressed in an Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-associated nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) has revealed the gene transcript human CD24. The CD24 antigen, glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored cell surface molecule, been identified as B-cell marker that is lost during maturation. We show here it on 3 NPC xenografts, previously defined consisting poorly differentiated epithelial cells, and biopsy. In case former, level expression corresponds to EBV load. A B-lymphoblastoid line carrying same genome one tumours, C15, EBV-negative Burkitt's lymphoma do not display but epithelial-like cells laryngeal tumour (Hep2) express it. Our data suggest may be differentiation only for B also have indirect association with expression.
