摘要: Objective To investigate the associations between cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) and level of cardiovascular (CV) risk factors in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) controls. Methods In a cross-sectional comparative study, CRF was measured maximal treadmill test for estimation peak oxygen uptake. Metabolic syndrome (MS), body composition, traditional CV factors, inflammatory markers were assessed. Multivariable linear regression models used to study factors. All adjusted age, sex, smoking, inflammation when C-reactive protein (CRP) or erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) not already included as dependent variables. Results A total 126 (mean ± SD age 47.9 10.8 years) 111 controls 52.1 11.1 included. There significant inverse mass index, waist circumference, triglycerides, CRP level, ESR (P < 0.001–0.03) controls. Also, found high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol (β = 0.03, P 0.001) blood pressure (BP; β −0.9 systolic −0.6 diastolic; 0.01) controls, but these 0, 0.69 HDL cholesterol; −0.04, 0.87 pressure; −0.14, 0.34 diastolic pressure) (additional adjustments medication). Higher associated lower MS both (odds ratio [OR] 0.91, 0.03) (OR 0.89, 0.01). Conclusion CRF favorable levels AS However, established findings an association BP healthy adults confirmed patients.
