摘要: Hypothesis There are differences between readings of peripheral blood oxygen saturation when the effect on values methylene blue is compared with that isosulfan used in sentinel lymph node biopsy patients breast cancer. Design Prospective randomized study. Setting University tertiary care center. Patients Thirty-two women undergoing surgery for cancer using biopsy. Interventions Sentinel usingmethylene (16 patients) and patients); there was also a control group 6 surgicalpatients whom dyes were not used. Main Outcome Measures Peripheral pulse oximetry, by blood-gas analysis, partial pressure plasma dye levels, recorded before injection 15, 30, 60 minutes afterward. Results The 2 interfered reading, but only showed significant differences. analysis groups regard to controls significant. Conclusions Methylene interferes less than reading. Desaturation factitious both cases, does correspond alterations values.
