摘要: OBJECTIVE To identify the prevalence of smoking and presence variables associated with habit in children adolescents both sexes, aged 7 to 17 years, resident city Maceio. METHODS A cross-sectional epidemiological study student population private public education systems at elementary high school level. Sample size was calculated based on minimum predicted a large number variables, including itself. Cluster sampling employed. questionnaire habits completed during individual interviews each student. Children who admitted having smoked 1 or more day previous 30 were defined as current smokers.
