摘要: This chapter focuses on personalized medicine for oral cancer, with emphasis selection of current and future therapies. Specifically, treatment radiation, chemotherapy, surgery customized strategies targeted therapy are discussed. Worldwide, head neck cancer is the sixth most common by incidence fifth cause cancer-related deaths. More than 90 % cancers squamous cell carcinomas (SCCs), which focus this chapter. SCC arises from cavity including lip, oropharynx/tonsil, larynx, hypopharynx. The risk factors tobacco, alcohol, human papillomavirus 16 (HPV16). HPV-positive usually occurs in oropharynx, HPV-negative cavity, Personalized customization to individual patient. goals improve clinical outcome, reduce side effects, decrease expenses.
