摘要: Abstract. The acute antihypertensive effects of orally administered semotiadil, a novel calcium antagonist, were compared with those nifedipine and diltiazem in conscious, unrestrained spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs). Semotiadil (10 30 mg/kg) produced dose-dependent hypotension that persisted for 18 hr at mg/kg. Diltiazem (30 100 (1 3 also exhibited dose-dependently, but their durations actions shorter than semotiadil. caused slight increase heart rate, while bradycardia marked tachycardia, respectively. These results suggest semotiadil has beneficial property as an anti-hypertensive drug.
