摘要: Fusarium spp. have frequently been isolated from patients with onychomycosis. In Colombia, several studies shown that is the most common non-dermatophyte mould causing onychomycosis and its spread has increased in past years. this study, samples were collected 2003 2004 137 who diagnosed caused by Three species of identified: solani (64.9%), oxysporum (32.8%) verticillioides (2.3%). The diseases more women (73%) than men (27%) occurred mainly among adults between 31 40 years old. percentage had received previous treatments was 63.5%. last years, new improved antifungal agents like echinocandins or triazoles voriconazole developed. For reason, susceptibility testing using performed, broth microdilution disk diffusion. results showed F. highest minimum inhibitory concentration. Using diffusion test, many isolates variable susceptibility. Genetic diversity determined random amplified polymorphic DNA. Twenty belonging to different haplotypes selected for PCR amplification a region gene encoding α-l-arabinofuranosidase B, specific test determine if f. sp. dianthi. On basis these results, we found five out 20 corresponded
