Galanin influences vasopressin and oxytocin release from the hypothalamo-neurohypophysial system of salt loaded rats.

摘要: Galanin is a peptide present in the nervous system and peripheral tissues which exerts broad range of physiological functions. The influence centrally administered galanin (Gal; 100 pM i.c.v.) on arginine vasopressin (AVP) oxytocin (OT) content hypothalamus neurohypophysis as well their blood plasma concentration was estimated male Wistar rats drinking ad libitum 2% solution natrium chloride per 48 hours. In euhydrated subsequently applied i.c.v. with Gal significant fall hypothalamic neurohypophysial OT but not AVP observed, however, without simultaneous changes these neurohormones concentration. On contrary, injection to salt-loaded caused marked raise level subsequent diminution both plasma. These results suggest that has an inhibitory biosynthesis axonal transport OT, AVP. restricts secretion into systemic circulation.
