摘要: We present fits to the broadband photometric spectral energy distributions (SEDs) of 158 eclipsing binaries (EBs) in Tycho-2 catalog. These EBs were selected because they have highly precise stellar radii, effective temperatures, and many cases metallicities previously determined literature, thus bolometric luminosities that are typically good $\lesssim$ 10%. In most available photometry spans a wavelength range 0.4-10 $\mu$m, 0.15-22 $\mu$m. The resulting SED fits, which only extinction as free parameter, provide virtually model-independent measure flux at Earth. satisfactory for 156 EBs, we achieve typical precisions $\approx$ 3%. Combined with accurately known luminosity, result each EB is predicted parallax 5%. parallaxes---with uncertainties 200 $\mu$as---are 4-5 times more than those by Hipparcos 99 our sample, find excellent agreement. There no evidence among this sample significant systematics parallaxes sort notoriously afflicted Pleiades measurement. distributed over entire sky, span 10 mag brightness, reach distances 5 kpc, should also be expected from Gaia first data release. studied here can serve empirical, independent benchmarks these upcoming fundamental measurements.
