摘要: . Background and aim. Antitransglutaminase, previously considered identical to antiendomysial in coeliac sprue (CS), have been reported end-stage heart failure. To clarify the above-mentioned data, we evaluated these antibodies a cohort of cardiological patients with respect troponin I, creatine kinase (CK), MB fraction (CK-MB mass) myoglobin. Methods. Forty-one acute coronary syndrome (ACS), 39 dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), 45 CS 58 blood donors (BDs) were evaluated. Antitransglutaminase tested serum being studied. Results. High-positive antitransglutaminase values found CS, whilst low-positive also ACS DCM. In at second ACS, antibody levels higher than those first cardiac event. infarct Q, non-Q, which unstable angina. A correlation between CK, CK-MB mass myoglobin was found. Finally, rose reach peak 30 days from event, whereas after further 150 days, approached BDs. Antiendomysial detectable only CS. Conclusions. Data highlight that can occur patients, are related severity/extent myocardial tissue lesion. This feature suggests loss specificity for CS. Furthermore, possibility employing long-term follow-up could become an object interesting discussion.
