摘要: BACKGROUND: Various environmental factors have been suspected to be associated with the risk of developing Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC). Volatile nitrosamines found in salted fish are thought carcinogenic substances for NPC. Nitrosamines activated by CYP2E1 enzyme. Several studies investigated relationship between polymorphism gene and susceptibility NPC, but results obtained were inconsistent. AIM: This study was conducted analyse association rs2031920 polymorphisms incidence NPC Minangkabau ethnic group. METHODS: The subjects this newly diagnosed patients, while controls healthy people.
