Use of valproic acid analog for the treatment and prevention of migraine and affective illness

摘要: This invention relates to a method for the treatment and prevention of migraine affective illness by administering therapeutically effective amount valproic acid analog 2-n-propyl-4-hexynoic acid. The compound is an anti-migraine anti-affective drug with greatly reduced adverse effects including neurotoxicity teratogenic potential compared thus provides improved treating preventing illness.
