摘要: Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common cause of joint chronic pain and involves entire joints. Subchondral osteoarthritic osteoblasts present a mineralization defect and, to date, only few molecules (Vitamin D3 Bone Morphogenetic Protein2) could improve potential this cell type. In context, we have tested for first time effect nacre extract on capacity from OA patients. Nacre known contain osteogenic which demonstrated their activities notably MC3T3 pre-osteoblastic line. For goal, were extracted (ESM, Ethanol Soluble Matrix) subchondral bone patients undergoing total knee replacement cells comparison. We chose investigate with Alizarin Red staining study extracellular matrix (ECM) structure composition. complementary way ECM secreted during phase was investigated using second harmonic generation (SHG). able induce early presence (after 7 days) precipitated calcium in cells. Raman spectroscopy electron microscopy showed nanograins an crystalline form phosphate hydroxyapatite ECM. SHG collagen fibers signal both types but lower osteoblasts. conclusion, rapidly restore osteoarthritis osteoblasts, therefore confirming as source compounds.
