摘要: Biochemical conversion of biomass into biofuels, biochemicals, and biopolymers has attracted much interest throughout the world in terms biorefineries. Lignocellulosic is one most plentifully available resources on earth. It composed three main - cellulose, hemicelluloses, lignin, all which are cross-linked to each other resist degradation by enzymes microorganisms resulting so-called recalcitrance. The biorefinery process typically consists steps: pretreatment, hydrolysis, fermentation. Energy cost efficiency predominantly dependent how produce inexpensive sugars from complex cell wall component lignocellulosic overcoming There have been tremendous efforts develop effective pretreatment technologies for obtaining highest yield fermentable feedstocks at lowest cost. present review discusses various understand effectively break down that eventually used microbial fermentation biomass-based fuels, chemicals, polymers.
