摘要: Significant progress has been made in the construction of genetic maps tetraploid cotton Gossypium hirsutum. However, six linkage groups (LGs) have still not assigned to specific chromosomes, which is a hindrance for integrated map construction. In present research, bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) clones constructed G. hirsutum acc. TM-1 these LGs were identified by screening BAC library using group-specific simple-sequence repeats markers. These hybridized ten translocation heterozygotes L as BAC-fluorescence situ hybridization probes, allowed us assign A01, A02, A03, D02, D03, and D08 chromosomes 13, 8, 11, 21, 24, 19, respectively. Therefore, 13 homeologous pairs established, we proposed new nomenclature cotton.
