摘要: The fate of prematurely condensed chromosomes (PCC) that are induced following fusion between a mitotic and an interphase cell was studied in the homokaryons HeLa 2 glycine-requiring mutants Chinese hamster ovary cells. data indicate: (1) often incorporated into daughter nuclei fused cells hence they functionally retained by progeny; (2) general, only viable products those where PCC has been induced; (3) S -phase leads to most rapid loss chromosomes, while homophasic fusions tend produce more stable hybrids with regard their chromosome number.
