摘要: Background Valvular heart diseases (VHD) is very common in clinical practice and has became the subject of growing attention field cardiovascular medicine. Our aim was to assess prevalence correlates VHD general population Xinjiang, China. Methods Using a 4-stage stratified cluster random sampling method, total 14618 participants were recruited Cardiovascular Risk Survey (CRS) study. The participants’ personal information, medical history assessed by questionnaire. diagnosed transthoracic echocardiography. We carried out statistical analysis utilizing SPSS Statistics version 19.0. Results In study group, observed 1397 (9.65%) individuals. rates Han, Uygur Kazak group are 13.51%, 2.71% 12.29% respectively. increased strikingly with age (all P < 0.001). results multinomial regression indicated that related Han smoking hypertension group. Conclusion Our research provides unique rate Xinjiang natural population. result suggests notably this increase age. There exists significant difference between ethnics. main risk factors age, smoking. Valvular should be regarded as serious public-health problem.
