摘要: The long-accepted conclusion that wolf density is regulated by nutrition was recently challenged, and the reached that, at greater levels of prey biomass, social factors such as intraspecific strife territoriality tend to regulate density. We reanalyzed data used in study for 2 reasons: 1) we disputed use points, 2) because recognized heteroscedasticity, weighted-regression analysis instead unweighted regressions original study. concluded do not support hypothesis densities are factors.
