摘要: mTOR/RAFT1/FRAP is the target of FKBP12-rapamycin complex as well a central component nutrient- and hormone-sensitive pathway that controls cellular growth. Recent work reveals mTOR interacts with novel evolutionarily conserved protein we named raptor, for “regulatory associated mTOR.” Raptor has several roles in pathway. It necessary nutrient-mediated activation downstream effector S6K1 increases cell size. In addition, under conditions repress pathway, association raptor strengthened, leading to decrease kinase activity. critical regulates growth response nutrient levels by associating mTOR.
