摘要: Abstract In a previous study, consuming fixed amount of low-energy-dense salad as first course reduced meal energy intake. We investigated whether this effect depended on serving before rather than with the main course, or compulsory ad libitum consumption. On five occasions, 46 women consumed pasta, accompanied four times by (300 g; 100 kcal [418 kJ]). At two meals was served 20 min pasta (once compulsory; once libitum), and at libitum). Results showed that adding to intake 11% (57 ± 19 kcal [238 ± 79 kJ]). Ad consumption less did not significantly affect Across all participants, timing influence intake, but participant scores for flexible dietary restraint. Consuming increased vegetable 23%. To moderate maximizing eaten may be more important
